chris_conrad 0 Posted March 5, 2004 Thanks for taking time to look at this. The photo is flipped horizontally as I thought the beam of light was better Left to Right rather than vice versa. No manipulations other than levels and curves adjustments in PS 7.0. cc Link to comment
kelly_marshall 0 Posted March 5, 2004 That is what I love so much about photography. You get to capture a moment in a not so beautiful place, but the end result is beautiful!!! Great job! Link to comment
nikonuserf100 0 Posted March 5, 2004 I've shot a few kiva photos but this is better than mine. The lighting is excellent. The beam of light is great. I've photographed Antelope Canyon showing a light beam (see my folder), but this is much better. Nice work. Link to comment

mehrashk 0 Posted March 8, 2004 This is very cute. What I implement from this picture is a heavenly light to a stoned heart. May it become full of love and joy. Link to comment
sabshire 0 Posted November 15, 2004 I love this... remonds me of Indiana Jones movies.... Going back there with a "chest of gold" and put in place of the rocks would finish the "Indian Jones" movie theme, don't ya think? It's a great shot, and I think the juxtopostion of the image works well. Link to comment
hashim a 0 Posted February 13, 2005 Agreed with the comments, especially Stacey's. This is nicely done... I very much like the strong diagonal and how the tones are presented. Link to comment

chris_conrad 0 Posted December 15, 2008 Regarding Terry's comment above: This is true to life. February light does actually shine through the roof like this. 30 second exposure allowed ample time for dust to swirl and accentuate the beam of light. Keep in mind, Terry, this is a subterranean kiva; it's really dark in there. ~chris conrad (photographer) Link to comment
