carlos marquez-blake 0 Posted March 4, 2004 This image, of course, was manipulated using Photoshop and made the motion blur effect. The freeway was taken in San Felipe, Mexico. Link to comment
nem 0 Posted March 4, 2004 I hate it when them darn aliens hog the road and won't let you pass. ;-) Link to comment
wcroninger 0 Posted March 4, 2004 Really well done Carlos, congratulations on an original idea and excellent execution. Link to comment
mbuntag 2 Posted March 5, 2004 I like it. That's exactly the kind of flying saucer seen from the 50s. Link to comment

sammm 0 Posted March 5, 2004 You say it is photoshop but how do we know that is true? Link to comment
jeff d 1 Posted March 5, 2004 I went through a pothole the other day and this popped off. Great capture. Beam me up to Mr. Goodwrench for a wheel alignment. Link to comment
james_barber1 0 Posted March 5, 2004 This just made me laugh, it brilliant! It instantly conjured up images of hillbillies riding a stolen UFO in a drunken stupor. The angle of the ship is just perfect. Classic edit. Link to comment
christiankiely 0 Posted March 6, 2004 You image gave me a good laugh, so I thought I'd reciprocate... [insert sarcasm] You should use a faster shutter speed to capture the spacecraft, it is blurred. Also, the crop cutting off part of the craft distracting. Be more attentive the next time you run across a UFO! Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted March 6, 2004 They are coming to Oz,I know it.....hide your childern and dogs !(Cats can speak "alien") There was one at the door yesterday, told it to see the bloke next door....(He was pissed and invited them in !)Run for your life ! *R* Link to comment
derek_stanton2 0 Posted March 6, 2004 Nice simulation, however your 'saucer' model is outdated. That manner of propulsion hasn't been used since Roswell. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted March 6, 2004 Not much different than driving the Long Island Expressway! Seriously, very nicely done Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 6, 2004 Oh no! Our last hope in England of making everyone drive on the other side of the road was if the rest of the universe did. Unless this was taken in your rear view mirror.... Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 6, 2004 I hope that you gave him a decent hand-gesture when he cut you off like this!! (Oh, but then I guess you wouldn't have been able to grab your camera!) By the way ... I think that the ratings for "originality" on this one are entirely TOO LOW!!! Link to comment
jerry lee 0 Posted March 6, 2004 Great, the only additions I could think of is to somehow add a subtle light(s) to the craft, and also include a vertical object along the road that casts the same angle of shadow so you can reference the shadow under the craft...... but this still looks real. 7/7 Link to comment
dhiren 0 Posted March 6, 2004 What ? a blank road, cut and paste into PS and little bit of motion blur....volla we have just learnt photography here ! Link to comment
my gallery 0 Posted March 7, 2004 Using faster speeds would solve the UFO's blur, maybe even would allow us seeing pilots of the window, road stripes are red probably from excessive heat from the UFO's exhaust. Also this picture would make a fortune in any UFO congress. Link to comment
geoff_waite 0 Posted March 7, 2004 I didn't think I was observed when I took it for spin!!! Link to comment
