Fishermen returning before thunderstorm.

This was taken just before a thuderstorm in a village on the Northern

coast of Bali.

shame the faces arnt a little lighter

Marko, I suspect this could be a fantastic image, however could I suggest a few possible changes? The storm is not evident, could a wider framed shot have been made to include some of the sky. Secondly there is quite a lot of noise in this image which detracts slightly. Just my opinionm - hope you don't mind my suggestions. Regards Paul...

Focus, exposure, color all need work. As well as depth of field.

Looks "grainy" (noise?), colors & focus seem off.

It obviously isn't evident from the photograph, but the grainy feeling comes from raindrops. This also influenced the sharpness of the details.

As to the apparent darkness of the faces - that is the original color of the skin. Remember I shot this in Indonesia... I could do something about that only by seriously manipulating the photograph on my computer (or am I wrong here?).

Despite Jennifer's comment, I feel the colors in general are just as they were at the moment the rainshower started.

Wish I were there... Having a major snowstorm overhere. Very bad light, but there is still a hope... expecting august...

I strongly agree with Jennifer; I also expected to see strong stuff, considering the feedback...
