I left Venice on last Friday, Feb. 27; I can't believe I missed such a good snow!! (I just posted two images today that I shot in Venice last Wednesday when it had just quit snowing, but more lightly) Oh well, a good excuse to go back soon. This is a really beautiful photo. I love Venice but struggle to find shots there that haven't been done a hundred times. You have succeeded beautifully here. Great job. So quiet and beautiful. Caio. Eleanor

That's where we bought our wedding rings, a couple of summers ago. So it's nice to have a picture of the same place, in such a different condition.

 

BTW, about the cropping, I'd either show the whole steps (left to right); or I'd show only half of them (again, left to right).

I love the gloomy atmosphere of this photo. A rare view of Venice, I think.
