Alex_Es 388 Posted May 7, 2007 I am especially impressed with your panoramics. This one jumped out at me. I do not do numerical ratings any more, with rare exceptions, because I do not believe in the veracity of the system. This is one exception. I thought this really excellent photo was grossly underrated. I think it is splendid. Link to comment
lutz 3 Posted May 11, 2007 Thanks Alex, I'm happy that you can relate to the picture. I've stopped rating photos alltogether. Cheers, Lutz. Link to comment
olivioargenti 0 Posted August 15, 2007 I enjoy your pano photos and your efforts in finding interesting compositions. Just a little suggestion: on various very good images, waiting for the right moment when a prominent element is isolated (for example, the one above or the one with the tram in the background) would in my view further enhance the overall value of the composition. Just a little patience for the magic moment. I totally agree on the absurdity of rating, which I have stopped a long time ago. It diminishes the efforts made by so many of us in dignifying photography and indicates little understanding of phorography by those who propose such system.
