andreas_holmstr_m 0 Posted March 1, 2004 Well my scanner sucks! To get such a detailed shot like this one sharp on the web, I think I will have to scan it in bmp, or tiff at 2900dpi, but that will make it a 30mb file, believe me it looks sharp on the slide. So please remember this in your ratings, don't look at it as it is just a soft image and give it a 3! I think it's woth more than that.... Link to comment
andreas_holmstr_m 0 Posted March 31, 2004 Dhiren: Well you should see the original slide, it's pin sharp, the scanned image is also good, but when I saved it for web use I did not see the slider where you choose the quality, if set to full the picture is nice, but here it's set to half... Also this shot is taken about 200m from the houses (at least) shot in the middle of the night at F16 if I remember correctly, at F16 at a distance of 200m the point of focus is probably from 16m to infinity, so it's impossible here, everything will be in focus, we are not talking about macro work here:) Link to comment
