I go back and forth on this one - I like what it says but I'm not so convinced of its worth as

a photo. Comments welcome.

Looks like severe exposure problems, or even deterioration of old film, to me. I don't really believe the earth, posts, and thatching are all exactly the same color. Or the tree leaves at upper right.

Is it copper toned? It just doesn't work for me I'm afraid. I don't like the exposure or the empty sky and there isn't any real point of interest to hold me. Sorry.

Yeah, the film was deteriorated - I did not develop it until 2003. And it is a B&W neg scanned in color, hence the brown toning. But I kind of like that about it. I guess my biggest problem with it is that it's kind of flat. I wonder if making it darker and punching up the contrast would help.
