douglas_coon1 0 Posted February 29, 2004 Shot in Ding Darling NWR, cropped from original. I was shooting a egret and heard the splash, I got off three shots and thought this one was the best Link to comment
dennis jones 0 Posted February 29, 2004 ....AWESOME shot........well done...Try a tighter crop, maybe. Link to comment
james_oneill 0 Posted February 29, 2004 It's hard NOT to be impressed with a shot like this. If this were my shot I'd be seeing how big I could blow it up from the crop and marking out suitable bits of wall. Link to comment
olov 0 Posted February 29, 2004 Impressive shot ! the limite between trees and water isnt quite horizontal.. but the rest is good. Would have liked to see more water drops :) Link to comment

hassan 0 Posted March 2, 2004 A remarkable shot, well composed, very sharp image and the exposure is just perfect. Link to comment
geoff_waite 0 Posted March 2, 2004 This is a great shot. I used to live in Alaska and watched eagles do this. This is a very large fish for the size of bird. He has his hands OH I'm Sorry!! Claws full!!! Link to comment
azriel_abramovich1 0 Posted March 2, 2004 I too agree about blowing it up and cropping as tight as possible. Bravo! Link to comment
michael_wagner2 0 Posted March 3, 2004 Fabulous capture!!! Perfect exposure and tack sharp focus. Made even more special by our relatively slow continuous speed of only 2-3 FPS (I don't know about you, but that 9FPS on the D2H keeps sounding better and better--if only it had an 8 MB chip to compete with the new Canon 1D MkII).
