swade 0 Posted July 11, 2001 Chris, I have an LX myself and can't get a shot from it with half the clarity you have here. Impressed. I'll have to dig it out again and have another play with it. Link to comment
chris_battey 0 Posted July 11, 2001 Steven, thanks for the comments. If I remember correctly, the exposure here was about 1/8 @ f2 (maybe 2.8, whatever the maximum aperture was on the 40mm, which I no longer have). I used to handhold down to 1/4 sometimes a half sec, depending on my position. I do remember lying on the carpet to take this picture, and it was a dark room. The neg was pretty thin, and tricky to print. But you can get clear pictures with Pentax gear, as most of the stuff in my folder shows. Incidentally I never use a tripod, too restrictive for me personally. Link to comment
chris_battey 0 Posted August 15, 2001 This is a picture of a young blind boy, taken in a special light room...where the kids could feel the vibrating 'light tubes'. Taken in the early nineties whilst photographing a series on Blindness in Children, and Education. Link to comment
