kslonaker 0 Posted February 29, 2004 This will be a party I can't miss!! When will you be joining the parade, Donna? I guess near the last leg of the trip....They should all smell pretty ripe by then! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted February 29, 2004 A lot of conversation on this one, but not much critique. Comments? Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted February 29, 2004 By the way,,,, love the rose. In fact the entire folder is an inspiration to me to try to be a bit less... blah... with my flower shots. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted February 29, 2004 Thanks, Regina. I love "playing" with flower pictures to do something different. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted February 29, 2004 This is a close-up of Regina's moose picture. Actually, I like the picture, Kim, but I didn't undertand Regina's references to "sweet tea" or "iced tea." Down heah that is considered very redundant. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted February 29, 2004 I gather you will be joining us then, Lannie? By the time you all get here, it will be hot, so I'll have some frozen margaritas ready to go! Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted March 1, 2004 Just point me in the right direction from Houston. . . . it's warm here, they can bathe in one of the rivers Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 1, 2004 Give 'em some soap and they'll be set. I hope you all are bringing tents since it sounds like it's going to be one big party! I have one spare room and lots of floor space. The moose can sleep with the dogs. Link to comment
thomas_collins1 0 Posted March 1, 2004 Geez criminey Kim, are starting up you own chat line here?! See what happens when you get those two (Ken and Roger) started? Of course I would never have such thoughts crossing my virgin mind.... ;-) Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted March 1, 2004 I am so jealous ;-) ...Ken and his eggs... he get's everything =| Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 2, 2004 Thomas, I did NOT get Ken and Roger started - they are "self-starters", believe me. :) Amazing what topic gets them going. Sarah, Thomas, Anthony - you're all welcome to join the party. Hop on your vehicle (or animal) of choice and head to S Texas. Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted March 2, 2004 Yeah Thomas .... bring Olga and that sword too ! Breakfast Anthony - I get breakfast....... )-; Well, I have a 'Good Times' conversion van. So we might as well all ride to Kim's ranch together. Hanna in Victoria - Thomas/Olga in Seattle - Knicki and I in Southern Oregon and Anthony near San Francisco. We'll have to fly Bente in from Denmark to San Francisco and pick her up there. Who am I missing on the West Coast ? ..... Oh yes Roger - we'll fly him in to San Francisco too. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 2, 2004 I'm looking forward to this! Oh, did I mention everyone needs to bring a tent? I'm sure we won't have enough room inside for everyone. It will be warm, don't worry. You might have to share space with lizards, birds and scorpions, though. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted March 2, 2004 Uh, excuse me for interrupting. Would that be present tents or past tents? Any room for a damn Yankee? Maybe I could hitch a ride.....You did say margaritas, didn't you? Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted March 2, 2004 This would be future tents ......... You better ride with us in the van. Wouldn't want you to get mixed up with any crazy people. Yes, the Good Time van has a blender and a fridge for the Cuervo .... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 2, 2004 I call shot gun...gotta sit up front. What time do we leave Ken? Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 2, 2004 Linda - I thought you were picking up Lannie, Regina and I on your way through the deep South...... Future tents for sure! Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted March 2, 2004 Kim, how are you going to feed the masses?. . . may I make some suggestions so they can sample some real Texan hospitality. . . wild boar on a spit with #5 hot sauce, alligator tail and rattlesnake chili, gar fish and chips, pecan pie, corn bread, pork rinds and stuffed jalapenos washed down by tequila shots. And for entertainment everyone will have to learn to dance the Texas-two-step and the cotton-eyed -joe. . . . Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted March 2, 2004 Hmmmmm. Wild boar? I think I'll go straight to the tequila shots, ifen you don't mind..... Link to comment
