this is a Fort that you may visit in Basse Terre, Guadeloupe. Built

during the Napoleon's war in the carrebbean to win the island from

the English. This is actually a very old pic of mine I had to

restaurate it a little bit...unluckily I lost the film.

Wonderful Image ! Chopping the tree at the top removes some of the strength from the image - if the top of the tree is avail, - include it.

Fascinating shot Cristina. I also have a lot of older photos where I have lost the negative. It is interesting to see what digital manipulation can do for them! There is an area of the tree here which seems to have some flare or some other loss of contrast. I find that these can sometimes be 'repaired' by lassoing them and adjusting brightness and contrast. Lovely shot though!

Hi Cristina. No wonder the image looks a little flat. Now the colors really have an antique feel about it. Good attempt.

Christina- this almost doesn't look real, like something out of The Lord of the Rings, from the Shire. Very nice.

I really like this image... it really has a "theatrical" feel to it, the feeling is very dramatic and seems to be similar to what you would see on a stage. The sky also has a painted look to it to... it's very interesting.
