lifeguard stand at sunset, Hapuna Beach, South Kohala, HI

I really like the color contrast in this image. From the blue sky to the yellow chair to the green leaves, it really works well. I only have two critiques. I don't really like the photographer's shadow in the bottom-left. And, I wish that the palm tree behind the chair was a little to the right so that it doesn't interfere with the chair itself. But overall, it's a very pleasing image!

 

I simply trying out the features of this site. Any ideas?

First, I agree with everything Tim says above, especially the part about the colors. In addition, I wish that the amorphous white blob (tissues? miscellaneous trash?) in the recess below the chair was not there. My eye keeps on returning to it because it interrupts the flow of orange.
