vickilynn 0 Posted February 25, 2004 Beautiful shot. I love the color and the reflection. Very classy. I think the digital alterations only enhanced this one. Link to comment
metin_selcuk 0 Posted February 25, 2004 Nice and deep colors. Perfect. However, why did you put it in Sport Category? Link to comment

thomas_turk 0 Posted February 28, 2004 One could tell by the thumbnail this was a canon. digital. Andreas Feininger said it for me, gimmicks dont work. Pity, pretty bird, albeit smeared with Colmans Hot English Mustard, dynamic as she appears to be preening herself, and superb artisitic reflections..Well, there was a blue cow, there is a Purple Cow, and there is a Red Bull, so I guess some will like it..Maybe Yellow Swan Brand Shanghai Mustard, remember the Seagull Chinese cameras... opd 0 Posted February 28, 2004 This said, I believe that, should you start with an original shot at sunset and then enhanced the saturation and contrast, you could achieve a better result. The grading from back to blue might need some smoothing and the masking is just a bit too rough. Nevertheless the overall result is quite good and the idea has great potential. Link to comment
tony georgiadis 0 Posted March 1, 2004 Many thanks to all,and Paul yes,i understand exactly what you mean, but it was kind of late since i had not enough available light, and i couldn'd see clearly in my viewfinder but was very much attracted by the curving of her neck....i came up with a below average photo,i never delete any photos. i knew someday i could use it some way.....and i came up with this photo. Photo net has a very wide variety of viewers, and that's great, all i did was to take a below average picture that wouldn't have any ratings at all and managed to have 41 ratings, and almost 20.000 viewers......and that only by adding a background and lots of Coleman's Mustard as MR.THOMAS TURK referred in his comment Now if Mustard.or Ketchup.....or horseradish.....managed to attract 20.000 viewers with 41 Ratings..and some viewer wanted to be the first to rate it 8+ 8+ if i made somebody....even if he was the only rater enthusiastic which i thank him again.then i think i managed to have done a photo worth having at least a look at it.....and this is why after i finished my jar of Mustard......i called it Digital alterations..... Only a word to Mister Turk..When i was younger yes, i didn't have the means to buy myself a Hasselblad, nor Mamiya, neither a Bronica...Medium format camera so i bought a cheap Seagull...and i made some Great photos with it. Isn't the goal of a photographer to attract the viewer? Well at least i attracted a few. I wanna thank everybody again for Any ratings made on this photo good or bad....and thanks to Mr.Thomas Turk too for expressing his opinion which i respect. Link to comment
