lukep 0 Posted February 24, 2004 I can just hear the slap and rumble of the ball on the lane. Nice exposure, nice contrast and NICE ACTION! Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted February 25, 2004 Takes you right there where the action is. Interesting angle. Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted February 25, 2004 Makes me want to go out and bowl a few frames. May have been interesting to see the focus on the ball. Nice idea. Link to comment
robert goldstein 0 Posted February 25, 2004 I would say that you really nailed this photo. Can't think of any way to improve it. Link to comment
hot74 0 Posted February 25, 2004 Anyone who has played will feel the tingling in their spine. That foot just makes you feel the motion up close. And then the ball in background is visible afterwards. Big, black, slow but with an impact. Nice bowling shot. Link to comment
root 0 Posted February 26, 2004 It never would have occurred to me to compose and focus this composition so the feet were the subjects, expecially the back foot. I would have liked to see pins extending across the full width, though. Link to comment
walter_strong3 0 Posted February 26, 2004 This caught my eye because of its originality. Sixty years on the planet and this is the first time I've seen this shot. Link to comment
dwscott78 0 Posted February 26, 2004 I have to say, this is a very original photo. It's such a simple idea yet you won't really see this anywhere else. Link to comment
nichols 0 Posted February 26, 2004 Carl, Thank you for the suggestion. The angle was the one thing I was disappointed with. The next time I try a shot like this, I'll try and get most of the pins in the shot.... and I am going bowling this weekend..... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 27, 2004 Love this shot -- very whimsical and I love that you can't see what the outcome was just yet -- you captured that moment of anticipation. Great work. Link to comment
snapamhall 0 Posted February 27, 2004 I like this one, love the wide angle. Nice Job. Link to comment

nichols 0 Posted February 27, 2004 Yes he did!!! Believe it or not, I think he actually did get a strike on this one. Link to comment
mervar 0 Posted December 22, 2005 Great detail. Perhaps the cutting is not the best. But I still don't know, how to improve it, because all the lines are working for me. Nice. Link to comment
