mark_crame1 0 Posted July 4, 2001 now that IS nice, I love the sky. The kind of shot John Dibbs would take. Nice composition and subject. Link to comment
cpj 0 Posted July 16, 2001 This is the best photograph of the entire portfolio. It suffers only from the fact that the photographer didn't see the verticle stabilizer of the P-51 sticking up in the background; eliminating that element would add to the dramatic impact of the photo. This little upwards thrust is just out of place--sorta like those damn telephone poles growing out of people's heads in otherwise good shots. Good thinking on getting the prop blades to point at the corners wne the shot was framed. A little lower angle or one step to the right might eliminate that distracting element in the lower left corner. Nice work with the exposure to retain the cirrus clouds and some blue sky. kramer 0 Posted July 17, 2001 Very nice Jay. How many chances do you get at a photo like this given the subject and lovely sunset. Link to comment

adam_deglmann 2 Posted November 13, 2002 good photo. DOF may be a little shallow (fuzzy cockpit). Backing off a bit to make the prop less prominent would make it different but I can't decide if it would be better or worse. Planes are one of my main subjects too, have a look and feel free to criticize. Link to comment
