Athabasca Falls

Took this picture while in a trip through Jasper in Alberta-Canada.

Used a simple point and shoot Kodak Cameo Camera.

Any thoughts?

Sorry to say that, but either the scanner is awful or the lens. This picture would gain a lot if it would be sharper - there's much room for that. I'd also choose either a longer or shorter shutter time - either a more 'fluent' water or a more freezing one, but that may be just me.

One more thing about the composition: Your eye seems always to look to the left side - a framing of the waterfall with rocks on the left or a bit of cropping would create a more balanced image.

Nontheless it is quite a nice picture - Kai
