single photos Caught in the headlights

This was a cover image for a story on how well a critical Elk habitat was doing under increasing pressures from estates with huge price tags. Mandalay Ranch on the left of the photo sold for around $43,000,000 to a california couple. They have no plans to devlelop the open ranch land at the foothills of the forest. Nikon D100, asa 800 with a 400 2.8 at 1/100 of a second on a monopod. This version looks a bit saturated. I thout it would flatten so I uped it..:-0
