Very well done. Could this be the dawn of a new phase? Keep it up. Personally, and this does not mean I'm right or anybody else is, many of the other super-high-key contrast were OK, but when you have this style it exalts your creative vision, and this indeed shows you can accomplish things without relying much on filters.
Try to remember that photography is like music in this sense: learn to play the notes, then forget the notes : )

I have seen Love, Beauty, Sadness and now SEN or (Zen) in your photographs. What else remains to be seen? This is a wonderfull photograph.

This is a daring photo, I think . . . . breaks all kinds of rules. :-) I like that you are willing to explore and risk failure - the recent one with the nostrils on the edge of the frame didn't work for me. Something about this grabs me, and my usual analytical approach fails me at the moment, so I'll abandon it and just enjoy it.
