taner 3 Posted February 18, 2004 Hello Carlo This is the kind of scene that makes me want to shoot an entire roll of film in a minute or two. Not only the kids present a chance for an interesting, warm, emotionally charged photo, but the colors 'framing' them are saturated and warm - perfect match... You obviously have the eye for seeing this kind of unique combination. Having said those, I do not think that you have made the best out this opportunity. I think that your viewpoint and composition could easily be improved upon here. The most obvious improvement would have been taking this photo from a position toward the left so that we see more of the kid on the left. Especially the closed eyes - you should have emphasized those... Getting closer, and therefore having a viewpoint from below their feet might have made an interesting composition; another option might have been to place the window and the kids in the exact center of your frame; such a geometry might have worked. But hey, that was 1988! Maybe you were in a hurry, maybe you had to catch your flight... You shoot an entire roll there, and you are guaranteed to do good! Happy Shooting AT Link to comment
