chrisspracklen 0 Posted February 16, 2004 Perhaps this would have looked better if the right hand side wasn't cropped so tightly. Link to comment
erin.e 0 Posted February 17, 2004 Check out my Airshow folder Shooter. It is a full sized flying replica. At that particular show they had five of these Fokker DR1s as well as a full sized Sopwith Camel with many original parts including a Gnome Monosuape Rotary engine. They also staged a 'Snoopy and the Red Baron" Dogfight of which I was fortunate enough to get a good pic. Link to comment
Alex_Es 388 Posted February 14, 2005 Erin, I like this shot. It is a perfectly fine photograph of a replica vitage Fokkor Tri-plane. I did not know von Ricthofen was only 25 when he was killed. Question: What kind of airplane were you in when you shot this? Link to comment
erin.e 0 Posted February 15, 2005 The image was taken from the ground Alex, as the aircraft took off, using a 70-200 lens and a 1.4 convertor on a DSLR. Link to comment
crtslex 0 Posted April 25, 2008 Erin, This is what airplane photos are all about! Great shot - technically and aesthetically. The scarf! HA! Great! Love this photo. Curt Link to comment
