owen_omeara 1 Posted February 15, 2004 Natasha: It is interesting to see a color image from you especially with this much saturation. I tend to like all three of them, but this one does the most for me. The facial highlight is terrific and is not blown out as it could have been. Well done. -Owen Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted February 15, 2004 I like this. The only thing I think I would have liked better was if you had raised thy countenance just a little. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 15, 2004 Anthony- I like where you moved her face to but the lack of a neck and grounding have me agreeing it looks eerie. Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted February 15, 2004 Scary?! Then I guess I was successful~! ;) yourself. Knicki, I tried stretching her neck, but she started looking like a giraffe, so I thought it was okay if she just appeared from the darkness=) PS-N those is some technicolor lips. Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted February 15, 2004 What about if she was wearing a dark turtle neck? =) Hmm, okay... I $@#%!* up. Yours is best. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 15, 2004 I like the turtle neck over the floating head. I agree on the lip color. nice shade. Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted February 16, 2004 Yes, you won... just don't rub it in ;) Is it Natasha? Link to comment
k2 0 Posted February 16, 2004 just one thought. the red is to saturated and just pops-out in contrst to skin color. it might be you desire to keep it as such, however i will point out that a blance between the greens upper-part of your photo, and red of her lips would be a key. best n k Link to comment
gudermane 0 Posted February 16, 2004 Yes, K., the colour is intentional, I wanted the lips to look poisonous. No, Anthony, it is not me, if this is what you meant;) Link to comment
jon w. 0 Posted March 10, 2004 And this one, but it is depressing how photographs of attractive females always prompt a string of salivating 'Is it you?' responses. Link to comment
aruel 0 Posted March 17, 2004 I wonder why i missed this one before, mi kind of portraits. Link to comment
aruel 0 Posted March 18, 2004 Abstract moments when the subject cant be reached by visual contact (which doensnt necesary has to have the eyes hidden) but better with personal introspective is what i enjoy from this kind of portraits. In my opinion the composition is geometrically complete, no further crop needed. Link to comment
gudermane 0 Posted April 2, 2004 Boris, I don't speak your language, all I understood from your comment is that you like this photo;).. Thank you. Link to comment
bbilly 0 Posted April 5, 2004 It's true that sometimes milimmeters are important. If you ask Me, the best version is second one ( scarry ). Girl on the foto reminds me on Siouxsie Sioux from Siouxie and the Banshees or on Lydia Lunch or on Lene Lovich; Someone like them. It's a really nice shot. Link to comment
gudermane 0 Posted April 5, 2004 Thank you, Boris, but I should admit..I don't know who they are...Now I am curious. Link to comment
