cecilw 0 Posted February 14, 2004 I did this in both color and black and white, with a little different cropping but the same image. No toning this time on the black and white. Comments welcomed and thanks for looking - Cecil Link to comment

wenger 0 Posted February 14, 2004 I was interested in this from the thumbnail, but I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy it. Upon opening the larger view the sharpness really made this photo for me. Great use of DOF and macro photography. It's interesting that the wire that supports the barb appears to be a different color. That isn't usually the case. Very well done. Link to comment
cecilw 0 Posted February 14, 2004 Thomas, the apparent difference in color between the wire and the barb is strictly due to the lighting - the sun is shining on top of the wire, and the camera is facing the shadow side of the barb. Thanks - Cecil Link to comment
wenger 0 Posted February 16, 2004 Ah yes, I see that by the highlight on the barb. Nice work. Link to comment
focus mankind 0 Posted February 17, 2004 Barbed wire is just a great subject. I really like this one. It tells a story in an image!Ivo Link to comment
