turkey Snowy Night in Istanbul

I am really taken by this shot, it looks almost as if you posed the cars, and dusted them with snow just for the photo.

 

The blue effect (colour temp / Editing?) somehow dosn't feel cold, instead it brings the street alive.

Many thanks for your comments indeed.For the time being i have only cars to pose me instead of models :) I would like the pic more if the snow on the cars were untouched.Anyway they were wasted for another good purpose by children, "snowball" !! Actually two editings are made in photoshop; cropping some of the left side which was darker and colourizing more blue to give the photo a more winterlike effect.Lastly one interesting point is that, one of my imaginative friends had told me that she saw a man's silhouette on top of the right car which is actually a tree covered with snow! :)

I like this... definitely sends chills down my back remembering winter!

 

It's the blue that does it for me ... a normal daylight shot of this same scene would make for a nice memory snapshot to remember a storm by but nothing exceptional ... but the blue tinting brings this image more into the realm of the surreal. Nice!

Snowy beauty, I love Istanbul, it is a city of big charm, But snow? I cannot imagine.. Must be strange and beautiful, cheers Jana
