Potentially beautiful, but too crowded for my taste. :)

I would recomend more framing.

i like this one better than the other one, less busy. as for those houses, i would have freaked out if i saw them myself, did you manage to get any close up of just the facades? i hope you did, those make some beautiful coloured pictures!

Lou, I like this one much better than the other one. It's busy, but then thats Ketchikan harbor. You have captured the essence of the place.

I like this one better, too. I think why this works is because the boats are all one height, then the houses are similar height in the middle, then there's a single house and trees, and the water is to one edge. This all seems to help cut the busy look that was in the other composition.

Looks like a fun place to be! Did you catch any fish?

No ... but I certainly ate my fill ... and then some......

I like this photo better than the one with the parking lot.
