Jim_Tardio 0 Posted July 1, 2001 This is like watching the doggie porno channel. Those crazy Greeks! The small dog makes the shot. I can't stop smiling. Link to comment
tony_dummett 0 Posted July 2, 2001 I had a few without the little guy (loved his sweater, by the way...a rare thing... a Greek dog that's looked after)... maybe better composition, but content was missing something. I liked her HER face too. It wasn't the end of the affaire for her, either. She was at it again the next day down at the beach (see my other pic). Poor bitch. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 3, 2001 Thanks for the beautiful trip Tony. Your work is stunning, focused and honest - can't wait for your next folder......best of luck with this one. Link to comment
terrence_kent 0 Posted July 7, 2001 He is wearing a sweater isn't he. Didn't notice that before you said it. The best part is the context, you know it wouldn't have been as effective as just a pic of several dogs getting their jollies:) Link to comment
tony_dummett 0 Posted July 8, 2001 This is what happens when you're converted from a cat-man to a dog-man (as I was 2 years ago). Suddenly you find beauty in all the strangest places. Link to comment
evil_princess_of_doom 0 Posted July 30, 2001 Haha, yeah it is like the doggie porno channel! Link to comment
think27 0 Posted October 18, 2001 How did you manage to take something that others might have done distastefully and make it so humourous and tasteful..regardless of the subject matter. Very funny and I do love the quality of your black and white work! Great lighting! Great tones... Great composition. Fun Fun...and laughs... Link to comment
g1 0 Posted November 11, 2001 It's the little one at the back having a good old sniff that made me laugh. I like this shot because the doggy world is set in the wider context of the people world. It just wouldn't be as effective otherwise. Link to comment
tony_dummett 0 Posted November 11, 2001 That's why I used the panoramic camera. There's more potential for confusing side issues, but also more chance to cast a wider net. A difficult machine, but worth perservering with. Pity they don't publish panoramic magazines, though... Link to comment
karlf 0 Posted June 15, 2002 You have an Henri-Cartier Bresson folder, this would be your Elliot Erwitt photo, Elliot would appreciat. Great shot ! Link to comment
dumpster001 1 Posted July 30, 2004 echo the above comment about Erwitt.. absolutely fantabulously lovely!!!! Link to comment
vuk_vuksanovic 0 Posted February 16, 2005 what elevates this picture to something sublime is that the dogs are actually lining up politely for something i expect would make humans abandon all social conventions. vuk. Link to comment
