ljk 0 Posted February 10, 2004 There is a feeling for me here, that she is being swept away by her own beauty. The patterns of water on her skin give the image impact and dimension, and I like her flowing hair which sets her face off so wonderfully. But that face is aloof, cold, and self consumed...revealing her true nature. Link to comment
tibu 0 Posted February 10, 2004 I love this one ... the colors, model posture, expression and the added graphic work. worderful. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted February 11, 2004 This is very interesting. You seem to come up with such creative compositions. The cloth (?)gives an impression of water, like she is drowning in it. Link to comment

darko1 0 Posted February 12, 2004 Jim,I have been here yesterday,I am here today,I come back several times in the day to take a look at your work.I do not have words to explain how much this series excite me and how much I learn from you. This series (Odysseus,Circe,Medussa,Aphrodite) is so nice an inspirating and with closer look it gives me some remindening on Dali,I can see some Jackson Pollock here(something in texture that remindes me on him-could not explain myself but:=). I will be back again,I am sure.;). Link to comment
jennifercatron 9 Posted February 12, 2004 Im not a fan of porn or even lots of nudes but this is art. I would expect to see something like this in an art museum. Nice job. Great attention to even the slightest details. The only thing that bugs me is the left breast and the gray coloring there, it makes it look as though it's diseased in some way. Keep this up and you will be famous one day.... Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted February 12, 2004 Jim, I like the way you produced those diaphanous gold layers to create an aura fitting for a goddess. Link to comment
stefan1 0 Posted February 12, 2004 hmmm - her patterened pantyhose is either bunched up or we may be looking at a hermaphrodite... I wonder about some of the elements but this is so strong it seems you don't really have to explain anything. I do wonder how you accomplished the line texture however... Good to see you posting. owen_omeara 1 Posted February 13, 2004 Jim: This is terrific. Not much I can add to it. Weston's birds are alive and well, except those that have fallen prey to the Monterey falcons. Best: Owen. Link to comment
harnstrom1 0 Posted August 10, 2005 I like to study the picture in different parts. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the original size. The detail view with her face and graphic details is attractive. A crop above her arms makes another version too. For certain this work is amazing and worth exploring. Kind regards. Edit: This message of censorhip scares me when I try to rate: "you aren't allowed to reciprocate so soon". Sad and unhealthy for PN. Link to comment
