This was one shot taken during an outdoor high school senior photo session. This shot was taken from a ladder on top of a picnic table and shot straight down at this very cooperative senior lying on the ground. An SB-80DX was used on a Stroboframe.

A very striking picture well composed. Catchlights are a little strange being almost like pins of light in the eyes which is a bit distracting. The way you got it sounds rather dangerous though for both yourself and this lady.

Thanks Tony for your comments. I agree on the catch light. I am pretty new to this site so I'm just getting my feet wet. Took a look at your work on the site. Really liked it.

Hi Michael, thank you for your kind comments. Catchlights (for me at least) can be a bit and miss, they are the biggest reason I reject some of my work as I sometimes forget to check they are there when I shoot.
