critter 0 Posted July 5, 2001 Good shot - the space to the right bugs me a bit, but when I did the hand/screen crop, it lost impact. I wonder if it would impact more shot a foot to the left and up 6 inches (to maintain the curve and flow but stretch her head a bit more to the right) Also, nice connection of the medium (IR film) to the theme. I'm horribly inept at guessing intent, so I'll give you my spin. The repose and flower bursting from crossed hands reflexively suggests death. But as the eye settles in, the garden, the expression and the bliss of reverie become more immediate. I like that contrast of death and dreaming. Infrared gives it both the cast of the ghostly and the surreal twist of the mind unfettered and quietly grinning. Flower against breast, sun absolving and the infinite majesty of a lazy cat stretch into the deep unconscious. To sleep, to dream, to die - to enter the fanciful ecstasy of tranquil unleashing and be reborn. Kinda nifty Link to comment

tsu dinighm 0 Posted June 11, 2002 This is the shot out of your group that starts to convey a mood to me. It has visual movement, and a nice feel. also while still modest, it really works here. Link to comment
