jplant 0 Posted February 8, 2004 Trying to produce a 'soft' look which I think is getting there, not sure about the cropping though. Constructive opinions welcome as always! Link to comment
james_oneill 0 Posted February 8, 2004 Zoe is getting a fair number of pictures posted. I've got a folder of pictures from of her and Rho before the main session started on Sunday - looking at your pbase stuff looks like you were there after I left. Neil white also has some of Zoe in Wales This is quite nice, though I wouldn't call it soft lighting - it's going bug me for the rest of the afternoon because it reminds me of something and I can't think what. The crop is a bit odd, becuse you're keeping Rhowena's chest out of shot, but it feels like her arms need to be completly in it - which would mean either an odd aspect ratio or some dead space at the top. That arrangment of the arms is worth a bit more experiment on another day. Link to comment
jplant 0 Posted February 9, 2004 Thanks for your comments, the softness I meant doesn't really show at this resolution, more a sort of glow. I have been following your work - saw the pix on Zoe's site, I guess we will meet eventually, small world! The crop was bugging me, although the framing effect of the arms was the idea and I think it works at that level - dunno, maybe this would work better with a mixed couple? Link to comment
