Nice composition, good colouring and well thought through bacground to really enhance to striking nature of the flower. Could be a little sharper, but overall a very nice piece.

Hi Sally, Nice composition. I particularly like this one and the shot of the bridge through the tree trunk. I have the same comment regarding sharpness, but is this a problem in scan quality and post processing? How are you scanning? I think these images are lovely and with better scanning and PS handling, they would show much better on the net. The book I mentioned (PS 7 Artistry) in my last comment on your succulent image should help. Also try converting your image to post on the web at the highest quality jpg. Slightly larger, say 8-10 inches per side at 72dpi should help. You have a nice eye, keep at it! Kind Regards, Gary
