I have a dumb question. Is this an infrared shot? Or, maybe mixed channels or just one channel? The effect gives the skin a nice glow.

Rita, this is another in a series of wonderful self-portraits. The difficulty for many of the rest of us, such as myself, is that we have neither the portrait skills nor such a beautiful and accommodating model to work with. I can suggest a solution, though: its time for you to start offering seminars on portrait technique with yourself as one of perhaps several models. Yes, this does mean a trip to Malta, but besides the portrait seminar we could also take advantage of the Maltese landscape and street scenes you also have portrayed. Hmmmmm.maybe thats another Rita hosted seminar.

I wish I looked so good in front, or behind the camera (see "my" self portrait if you dare on my info page).

this image is off the chain! You caught a very seductive and powerful instant, and the compostion and lighting is superb. By the way, do you have a studio in Florida? :-)

You're ... gorgeous. You define beauty with this shot, and it's very well taken with the camera too.

 

Only problem is the mildly indexed colour - it looks somewhat photoshopped (as in obviously so) to me. But that could just be me.
