Vacant house built in the late 1800's. Kind of a sad place looking

for a new beginning. I liked the morning light through the window

and door. Edited in ps7, desaturated and cropped. Original version

on my computer looks much sharper. Anyone want to help me with

advice on uploading? Thanks!

Nice tones and shadows, the left window and the floor it's light up show a little washed out on my monitor, but still very nice overall.

Tina, how are you saving your file before uploading? When you save a jpeg it can lose quite a bit of detail. For B&W I tend to prefer a GIF image, as it does a nice job keeping the image sharp. Also, photo.net has it's own resizing schemes on the server than can cause it to lose quality when viewed as a "medium" sized image. In PS7 there is an option to "Save for the web" where it optimizes the image for size and quality. You might give that a try also. Just a thought, hope it helps! By the way, nice picture!

Great mood and light, Tina. You could post a bit larger resolution. This is 500p wide and would probably show better at 800p wide. Mister Ken
