Very interesting lighting, I like the blown out face, with only shadow details and major features left...the hair underwater looks like ferns, is that a photoshop effect?

I presume that the lovely subject is your daughter or someone very close. The way you approach her and the way she handles it is unique and heart warming. It is consistently very hard to make good photos of one's children. I have seen rare single instances in photo.net. I am sure there are others I have missed, but in general they are few.

 

Yours stand out among the good ones for a reason: (a)Aesthetical quality, (b)Repeat quality of original pieces. This (b) is more important for me than (a). For while aesthetics might be the heart of the pleasure one gets from a photo, your portraits of this girl are more important because they point out to the right path of handling a delicate subject with an artist's eye. Well done.
