Man Meets Beast...This old bulldog would come out and sort of wheeze at each and every passer by. It was a Sunday morning and people were feeling good about life, I guess. Fresh bread, no work till to

I really like this one. Great slice of life. Add the full comments!

Oh, wait, if it needs that then the shot is lacking!

Oh, add them anyway.

Tony,

The quality of your scans is as high as your work itself. Do you scan them yourself and, if so, what do you use?

Intrigued minds would love to know!

I know you will, but keep shooting.... please! Great stuff!

From Imacon, the only psuedo (?) drum scanner for home use, I believe. Mulitple G's. (leaves nothing to the imagination, that im sure of)

After an initial forty-six years of being a "cat" person, I've been a dog person in the two years since. I "see" scenes like this a lot. I'm an unashamed anthropomorphist and perhaps read too much into the actions of supposed "dumb" animals (but I don't think so). I'd like to think the picture stands up without the title, but in the end, just wanted to share this happy moment with as many people as possible. Hence, the title. Whatever it took.

I've been looking at this photo regularly for the last six months and never get tired of it. It's a wonderfully sensitive and gently humorous capture of a man-dog encounter. The placement of the two subjects in their surroundings is most satisfying, showing a complete mastery of the panoramic format.
