vincetylor 0 Posted January 31, 2004 Flowers are hard to get decent ratings on this site. This is very good though Regina! Quite simple as well as very sharp and colorful. I do not mind the photoshop work done, nor the frame...but some might. Personally I would think just a tint of red somewhere in that border would add to it's beauty. Nice work PS- Why not try it for you. Link to comment
chrisspracklen 0 Posted January 31, 2004 Beautiful piece of work Regina! Well done! What makes it for me is the colour contrast and excellent composition! Kind regards, Chris P.S. I think Vincent's thought about the stroke on the inside of the frame is a good one ~ just personal preference! Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted January 31, 2004 LOVE this one, Regina! (Although, I must admit that I'm biased because I love tulips!) The added red to the frame is a nice touch ... but the simplicity of the flower with the almost non-existant background make this one! Wonderful! Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted January 31, 2004 Thanks Lou Ann... my favorite flowers too. Sent to me by one of my favorite people... my son. Thanks JD! Link to comment
gabrielma 0 Posted February 1, 2004 I used to have a couple of tulip pics myself, but took them off because I'd get incredibly bad ratings along with some rather dumb "comments". Yes, flowers are overdone, but few still catch your eye. This one caught mine.Best of all, it is not portrayed in a triumphant manner. Ironically sensual. Link to comment
tyler_buckley 0 Posted February 1, 2004 beautiful.... the softness of the focus and edges really make this for me. Link to comment

oswegophoto 1 Posted June 2, 2005 Lovely; I'm particularly taken by the feeling of weight evoked by the stem's curve. Good spot to work through the heavy thoughts, perhaps. Link to comment
