DB_Gallery 83 Posted August 7, 2001 This nice light on a white cat. The wicker thing.....I think that's what it is, in between kitty's paws, breaks the "fur" part of the picture up. I can't decide on whether it detracts or not. Nice soothing image. Dan. Quote Link to comment
g1 0 Posted August 8, 2001 This really is a tender moment as the cat is 'submissive' stance. The white fur is beautifully exposed & the eyes really are clear & nicely positioned for the comp. I am also having positive subjective vision here because I used to have a cat called caspar & this cat looks a deadringer. He/she is beautiful, and your photo conveys much character. gauthier 0 Posted September 15, 2001 Yes, nice composition, cats rarely in such a vulnerable position for long, especially when you're pointing at them with a camera. Lots of details in the eyes and face, but good use of selctive focus. And you're lucky to get so many comments: pet shots don't usually attract as much traffic as sunsets and waterfalls. This is another indication of how compelling your picture is. Quote Link to comment
ricardojmendez 0 Posted September 15, 2001 Cats have great expressions when resting and you managed to take the picture at an excellent moment. Great detail and uniformity of colour, I'm sure that focusing on its face before it jumped out must have been quite a task. I love it, even taking into account that I am partial to cats.
