max zappa 0 Posted January 28, 2004 Roger, this is a great image. But may I ask is this manipulated, the clouds look unreal? Max Zappa Link to comment
josep lluís grau 0 Posted January 28, 2004 Roger, very good composition and combination of lights, shadows, textures... Congratulations, Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted January 28, 2004 I selected the clouds and softened them with a slight blur, because of artifacts left from the scan. On the day, they were soft and broken, thus the name. *R* Link to comment
photos of hans koot 0 Posted January 28, 2004 It works more then well in monochrome. I love color, but this is amazing! I see the love for your country in it. Softening works well. Link to comment

w. roger keagle 0 Posted January 29, 2004 Jennifer, from you that is a thrill! A Lady who goes out in freezing weather to capture shots !*R* Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 29, 2004 The way the sunlight is playing over the gully is brilliant - I think the mono helps accentuate the change in tone associated with this. That sheep sticking its head up at the bottom made me laugh! Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted January 29, 2004 Andrew, knew you would like this...., riding on the back of a sheep....Smiling here too ! Link to comment
maxhaynes 0 Posted January 29, 2004 Roger, etch another knife and go out and buy a proper scanner to go with your proper camera, this is a proper good shot. Link to comment

peter_kervarec 0 Posted January 30, 2004 Strong, gritty image, Roger, gives me the impression of a hot barren landscape. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 30, 2004 Roger, this makes me uncomfortable. That sheep is looking at me. His constant gaze. The way the eyes follow one across the room. scary. ok, seriously. kick ass photo dust pan man. Knicki Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted January 30, 2004 Roger, this is absolutely poetic. It reminds me of a quote by Ernst Haas..."A picture is the expression of an impression. If the beautiful were not in us, how would we ever recognize it?"....I concur. Link to comment
