Excellent strong piece of work, my only question is why weaken this by the frame you chose? With solid clear lines and shadows, you really should compliment it with a strong edged frame, complimenting the shadows and highlights in the piece.

Regarding the frame you mentioned, the frame is the mark of my own carrier of enlarger. I agree that a strong and clean edged frame will help the photograph more tidy, but sometimes I want to show the original print as it is.

 

If I have chance to display this photo in exhibition, I will try to give it a solid frame.
