wilsontsoi 0 Posted January 29, 2004 Has movement, depth, contrast, nicely done. I'm sure viewing on screen here doesn't do justice to the actual print you'll get from a 6x7. Link to comment
macgregor_anderson 0 Posted January 29, 2004 I love this shot! I like the framing of the bridge better than the first, but really this one just exhibits immense power and drama. Link to comment
erik_jones 0 Posted January 30, 2004 you've conveyed just the right amount of motion, offered a great contrast in the clouds, and provided a real solid background. very nice. Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted January 30, 2004 I would have shot in color... and also tilted the camera down, to get only half that sky, (forget those stupid rules). Mask off half the sky, and u see u will lose enough of that strong black strato cumulus cloud, to make the waves jump out at you. Now the the clouds detract instead of complement. The shot then also becomes much more earthy. Otherwise composition has an interesting, balanced horizon detail, and well chosen shutter speed gives interesting wave motion. Link to comment
kmgibbs 0 Posted February 19, 2004 Why not black and white? This is beautiful in B&W with all the shapes and tones. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 8, 2004 The texture of the turbulent water is wonderfully captured! Link to comment
siegfried_burgstaller 0 Posted May 4, 2004 I love this one, the flow of the water conveys so much power to me, the bridge in the distance then anchors me back to the ground. Link to comment
