I love this shot! I like the framing of the bridge better than the first, but really this one just exhibits immense power and drama.

you've conveyed just the right amount of motion, offered a great contrast in the clouds, and provided a real solid background. very nice.

Amazing shot!

I would have shot in color... and also tilted the camera down, to get only half that sky, (forget those stupid rules). Mask off half the sky, and u see u will lose enough of that strong black strato cumulus cloud, to make the waves jump out at you. Now the the clouds detract instead of complement. The shot then also becomes much more earthy. Otherwise composition has an interesting, balanced horizon detail, and well chosen shutter speed gives interesting wave motion.

Why not black and white? This is beautiful in B&W with all the shapes and tones.

I love this one, the flow of the water conveys so much power to me, the bridge in the distance then anchors me back to the ground.
