thomas_turk 0 Posted January 25, 2004 I would crop off one third of the foto from the right hand side. Makes it more balanced, more clear and simple, and gives more prominence to the icy road and the coconut tree, surely the main subjects..... U dont really need the houses on the extreme right, one next to the tree is quite enough, and it is beautifully lit up... Mask out that right third with a piece of white paper and see if u like it more..The right two thirds, without road and tree, is another clear composition. Link to comment
navarra 0 Posted January 25, 2004 Great colors and awesome landscape. Maybe the tree needs some more light. Simone Link to comment
bryan olesen 0 Posted January 25, 2004 When I first looked at this yesterday, I only thought the cyprus looked too dark. I did not think you placed the tree there. I should have viewed the large version as you suggested. I did today, and can now see details in the tree. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. Me thinking it was Velvia originally was a compliment. Again, very nicely done. Your landscape folder is very impressive. Bryan. Link to comment
maxhaynes 0 Posted January 26, 2004 I'm sorry Roberto but I have to disagree with everyone on this image, I feel the filter places a shroud on the image. The tree appears to be too dark compared to the grass and I think that is the fault of the filter. You know I love your work, but this one doesn't sing for me. Link to comment
paul_muresan 0 Posted January 26, 2004 I must say this is great. Nice composition, specially I like the light blue of the road. Link to comment
stuart_slater 0 Posted January 26, 2004 I just love the warm glow. The white road just pulls you into the scene. Fantastic job. Link to comment
digitaldee 0 Posted January 26, 2004 Sembra un paesaggio irreale, ma la foto è molto estetica. Link to comment
timo_heubach 0 Posted January 26, 2004 The color scheme is just sooooo beautiful. The red glow drags the eyes further into the scene following the white road past the lonely tree and into the great unknown, as if you didn't care if there ever will be a tomorrow or not. It's just fantastic. When I look at it I get an overwhelming feeling of lonelyness and tranquility... Link to comment
