Mount Bromo Volcanic Area in Eastern Java, Indonesia

If possible, this shot should have been taken about 15 or 20 minutes later, when the sun would have thrown more light onto the volcanic cones, but still has the early-morning warmth. But I bet you were being hassled by a bad-tempered horse handler!

Also, I think a slightly wider lens could be used to advantage.

This is a great shot Michael. I have seen the place myself, however did not manage to get such a good view and image as you did.

If you consider cropping, I think it could even better.
