cliffb 0 Posted January 22, 2004 This little bird was difficult to catch sitting still. Any of your comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment
nikonuserf100 0 Posted January 22, 2004 Great colors and clarity. Much more interesting than most bird photos I see. Link to comment
jeff leiper 0 Posted January 22, 2004 Simply beautiful, and the bird is almost perfectlyseparated from back and foregrounds with your depth of field. The greens in the photo seem a little dull - a different film next time, maybe? But just a lovely take. Congratulations. [Edit] oh, it's digital - maybe some different light next time - but you take what you can get when you can get it. Link to comment
bens 0 Posted January 22, 2004 Cliff, terrific shot -- very crisp but natural, active, the eye contact, the colors -- i've tried some bird shots, they're in my folder fyi -- and i know this is a tough moment to get. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 23, 2004 I think everything I could say about this photo has been said already. However, it would be rude not to say something. Well done! Link to comment
nwo 0 Posted January 24, 2004 Such vivid photograph of a beautiful bird! I don't know that I've seen actual red eyes before! Good crop. Link to comment
shirley_sanderson 0 Posted January 24, 2004 Beautiful! Capturing the bird taking a bite out of the leaf is perfect, much better than a static portrait. Link to comment
