RIPENING UP

What a cool image!! The colors in the objects (pumpkins?) and the colors in the sky are perfect. And I love the dramatic lighting. Cool!!

The one basic color makes for an appealing composition. The sky compliments the pumpkins and completes the effect. Nice work!

An extra-ordinary shot must have clarity, as well as strict composition and simplicity.. I dont see what the sunset has to do with the watermelons. The large to small is clear, the sunset is disturbing.. That makes it an ordinary foto of large and small watermelons and a vivid sunset, or forest fire, or whatever that is...

damn, you're one sad person! learn how to look at a photo and try at least to understand what it is all about before you start commenting about it! first of all these are not watermelons but pumpkins and in our culture (maltese) farmers place them on top of a roof so they ripen up before they sell them, that's why i think you should have considered looking at the title also, didn't think that i would have had to include this explanation cause it seem kind of obvious! bananahead!

Yes, Rita, I know they are pumpkins... my point is that the sunset/forest fire is not clear, and detracts from the simplicity of the foto.. BTW, I am melon-head, not banana head... and also, how would I know you dry them on the roof.. ?? Dont get so agitated,Rita, u asked for comments, u got one. If you were happy that your shot was extraodinary, u would have said..praise only pse..They did look as if they were lined up on two walls for a fotoshoot.. I cant see a roof...(We Hungarians bake them in the oven..)

that is why it would be nice to ask if you dont get it, instead of jumping into conclusions, and why did you call them watermelons if you knew they were pumpkins, were you trying to prove my point? calling you bananahead that is ;0) As for praising, i am not here for that at all, i can only improve my skills from both positive and negative comments, however you didnt just comment negatively on my picture, you just decided to make fun of it, now tell me how good will that do me? aren't we supposed to be on here to learn and encourage each other as well as commenting on each other's work? it's funny how YOU can talk when you don't even have ONE single picture on your page!!! it would also be good if you make sometime and find out a few things about Malta, for example....we don't have forests and also, we build different houses than you over in Hungary, that is why the roof is different than yours!
