jeffrey_butler 0 Posted January 22, 2004 Exactly the way I feel when starting on a home project. The surreal white background adds to the emptiness being felt (white wall, smoky or cloudy sky??). Nice crop job. Link to comment
jon w. 0 Posted July 19, 2004 I like a lot of shots in this wonderful folder - this one, revolution girl, the three girls with attiude, do not sit on this step, shame on you robert, etc. As you can guess, I'm particularly taken by your inventive use of texts a la Weegee or Walker Evans, something I also try to do sometimes. However, as others have noted, the tones are v. harsh in a lot of these - blown highlights and grey, grainy shadows. Is this a scanning problem? Anyway, the imges are strong enough to make it a secondary issue, and it's always best to make allowances for scanning on PN. Link to comment
