Yellow Rose

Couldn't help looking at this image for a long time.... The soothing yellow and green which is a color combo I am always drawn to. What I find interesting about this image is the different approach to shooting a rose. Your photo has a very painterly feel and a beautiful softness to it... yet the petals (unusual for a rose image) has strong pattern and angles. I think it is an excellent photo..
