i believe that the colour that you chose makes the image more interesting.otherwise you could end with a very neutral picture. i love the soft tone of it. well done.

Outstanding. The slightly off centered subject is a real pluss here. Creates just a slight bit of tension. The coloring is also warm and inviting. What a great capture... Dave

Very nice tone, and I especially like the faint outline of a hill/mountain in the background, the softness of the waves, as well as the contrast of the dark bird to the rest of the image. I'd much prefer the bird to be positioned to the left or right, and probably a bit lower in the frame, for my particular tastes. Nice image.

I agree to the comment about the bird being slightly off centered and the soft color with the mountains on the background makes the picture
