paul hays 0 Posted June 24, 2001 This pile of waste earth was only 8-10 ft tall- A wide angle lense and stopped down aperature was used to obscure size. Vignetting? Oops. But I kind of like it. Link to comment
james___ 0 Posted June 24, 2001 Nice abstract. Interesting printing. But why the vignetting in the corners? I question the look. Almost Fee-like. James Link to comment
anders hald 0 Posted June 25, 2001 Good composition, shame about the vignetting. Printing the edge of the negative is traditionally something that belongs in the genre of documentary, suggesting objectivity with the uncropped picture. This motive belongs, it seems to me, in the new landscape genre, talking about nature under the influence of culture. I don't think that printing the edges does anything to enhance the image, it might actually look cleaner and stronger without it. Link to comment
philippe_talbot 0 Posted July 1, 2001 I like the vignetting, it gives the photo a bit of dimention. It's not always bad, but hard-core by-the-rules photographers will tell you that it is. Link to comment
