Below Small Falls

All the equipment was listed except film and exposure information. Is this available?

Sorry I don't record exposure info. I'm also not really sure about which lens I used or the filter. Those are my best guesses based on what I remember carrying with me that day.

Although any feedback is welcome, I'm particualrly looking for feedback on

the presentation of which this is a part.

Did your mother see it in black and white?

nice shot with tricky lighting, no doubt. perhaps underexposing it a tad and using PS to get details in the shadows? also, you could crop somewhat horizontally, giving more of a panoramic view and getting rid of the hot sky on the top left.

for some reason or another there is bad contrast on this photo - I would say becuase it is both in the shade and in full sunlight (the film couldn't perform with such a varience) - keep shooting - in black and white I always try to keep things simple so as not to overwhelm, this shot is quite busy so it doesn't work to well for me.

A different crop would help, I think, but it seems you have "one of Those skies", every photographer's nightmare. I love the water, but these shots are so difficult. So disappointing when you've planned a trip for so long, then have to eat it. It's a beautiful area, hopefully you'll have better light next time!

and you even used an 8X ND filter and still this much discrepancy? hmm, wow.
