This from an ongoing series of candid street portraits. Available light only, no

retouching. I thought this had a nice graphic appeal to it. Comments/ratings on

Quick thought. Remove the little berry (or whatever it is) on top of her hat. I appreciate that there is no PS work done here but would liek to see her eyes opened up a little. Bit of Dodging maybe? I like the image... Dave

Needs to be brightened (too much detail around the eyes lost). Otherwise an eye-catching and appealing shot.

I'll agree about the thing on top of her hat. Yeah, that's distracting. I'm not sure about the eyes... I kinda like them obscurred. I realize that it effects people's perception of her. It sort of hides her persona. I'm in a purist phase right now. I'll probably attempt a bit of PS on these as time goes on. The eye area is an issue with many of these.

Light on the face is really missing here. Otherwise well framed, but if you are going for expressions, they should be HIGH-LIGHTED...
