Critique please...

You've worked the light perfectly, maintaining shadow and highlight detail on the face. I like the rich, dark tones of the train interior. Good subject, too -- he looks like he's been squinting down train tracks for decades. My one niggle is that slightly distracting vehicle on the extreme left. I'd crop it out, and perhaps maintain the same aspect ratio by eliminating a bit of the black at the top of the frame as well.

Fine informal portrait, well exposed and composed.

I love the shot, but would like to see the original before you cropped. A man like this would probably have hands that said a lot. I wonder what they are saying and that we can't see.

I wish I could see more of his "office." That's one reason I added a 24mm Elmarit-M to my arsenal, to be able to work a bit closer in cramped quarters. I think he's trying to decide whether or not to make you shovel some coal.
